Born on a dark morning walk.

Glow & Loop started on an ordinary morning walk. We take our dog out early, before work, well before sunrise — and one morning she came out of the dark a little too suddenly on a corner and gave another walker a real fright. It wasn't a nice feeling, for either of us.

So we hooked a glowstick to her collar. Rough, ugly, and it worked — she was visible from down the street, and nobody else got a scary surprise on their morning walk. That glowstick became the prototype for Glow & Loop.

Now instead of those dark mornings, we actually look forward to them — mostly for the ridiculous sight of her glowing head bobbing along through total darkness like it's floating on its own. Turns out solving a real problem could also just be funny.
